Sea Kayaking for all abilities
Our kayaking sessions on the Lizard are designed to cater for all abilities — from complete beginners to more experienced paddlers. Each session is carefully tailored by our guides on the day, taking into account the group’s confidence, the conditions, and the best locations available to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding experience for everyone.
Whether that means a relaxed coastal exploration discovering hidden caves, wildlife, and local history, or a more dynamic paddle working with swell and building confidence in the open ocean, we adapt every session to suit the group.
If you’re feeling particularly nervous, or alternatively have extensive sea kayaking experience and would like something more bespoke, we highly recommend booking a private session. This allows us to fully tailor the experience to your needs and get the most out of your time on the water.
All equipment included
We have top quality sit-on-top kayaks that are very stable and suitable for all ability levels. You are provided with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. You will need to bring swimwear, a towel, and trainers or beach shoes.
Our fully qualified guides will run through safety procedures on the beach and explain basic paddling techniques. If you would like to take your skills further, have a look at our training courses.
Kayaking on the Lizard
On the Lizard peninsula we have bases at Mullion Harbour and Cadgwith Cove; both are picturesque fishing villages. We choose between these 2 sites depending on the sea conditions. Book for a 3 hour Lizard trip and we confirm the location on the day before.
